Christmas in Ohio part 3 - Cincinnati on Christmas Day

After spending Christmas Eve at church and with family, we went to bed excited for Brayden's first Christmas!  Now, to a 4-month old baby, Christmas day really isn't that different from any other day.  Brady doesn't wake up wanting to run down to get presents - he wakes up and just wants to eat, and then maybe even get some more shuteye!

Eventually, we did get around to opening presents with Charlie's family - Griffey and Brady included.

Everyone enjoyed the gift-giving, we were excited to give some of the presents we'd purchased from Christkindl Market. in Chicago  Brady again seemed just as interested in the wrapping as the presents themselves!

He enjoyed some of the books he got and liked reading with his Mom and Dad.

He also got some warm winter outfits for the cold Chicago weather!

Even Griffey got a great gift - a sock monkey toy of his own!

Later that day, we had an excellent Christmas meal prepared by the resident chef on Wyoming Avenue, Charlie's mom Leslie.  In the evening, we went to the movies, which has become a family tradition.  Katie stayed at home to watch Brady, while Charlie and Leslie went to go see the Hobbit and Tom, Abby and Grandma Dorothy went to see the new James Bond movie.  It was a great Christmas and we were happy to see our son enjoy spending time with family this holiday season!
