The NCAA Elite Eight - watching the Bucks

A couple of weekends back we went to Boston.  We posted about the drive there in our last post, where we stopped in Bridgeport to watch Miami play in the NCAA hockey tournament.  Well, there was another Ohio sports team playing near us during this trip - the Buckeyes were playing in the Regional basketball tournament in Boston.  The game was at the TD Garden, where the Celtics play.

The Buckeyes beat Cincinnati in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, and were set to play Syracuse in the Regional Final (the Elite Eight) on Saturday night.  We thought we'd honor our Columbus roots and go to the game.  The game didn't disappoint!  The crowd was decidedly Syracuse; we estimated 80% in favor of the Orange.

The Buckeyes led most of the game, though, and held off Syracuse to make it to the Final Four.
